With a week to go till the HSBC Singapore 7s, Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach, Osea Kolinisau says they are focusing on their kick offs, defence and keeping possession.
He highlighted this to fijivillage News after their training session this morning at the High Performance Unit.
Kolinisau says this why they lost to Australia in Hong Kong, they lost a lot of possession from an offload that did not stick, knock-ons, and they missed a lot of tackles against New Zealand.
He says they want to replicate game intensity in training to see if the boys can stay in those moments for long periods of time.
The Singapore 7s is from next Friday to Sunday where Fiji is pooled with USA, Great Britain and Ireland.
The Fiji Men will play USA at 5.14pm next Friday in their first pool match before facing Great Britain at 10.30pm Friday, they will then meet Ireland at 5.37pm Saturday in their final pool match.
