WAF working with FRA for some roads to be cleared to restore water in Vanua Levu

The Water Authority of Fiji says they are working with the Fiji Roads Authority to clear some roads in Vanua Levu so they can begin restoration works.

They say their teams are currently working to fully restoring water supply in parts of Bua.

Water supply has been restored to majority of the metered areas in the Northern Division which includes Labasa, Seaqaqa, Dreketi, Vunivau and Nabouwalu.

Water carting trucks are delivering water in the affected areas.

A special customer call centre has also been set up especially for those people in the Northern Division and customers can call 1508 for enquiries and assistance.
