Minister for Lands, Filimoni Vosarogo confirms that he will meet with the Namosi landowners regarding the Special Prospecting License tomorrow.

He says the postponement of their earlier meeting was due to the request from the Archbishop Peter Loy Chong and Lomani Au, Maroroi Au spokesperson, Sipiriano Nariva, to move the date for their meeting because of their lent week.

Vosarogo says the problem which they now identify is that the Namosi Provincial Office had not communicated the deferment in time.

The Minister says the deferment was sent and acknowledged on the 15th of April by the Namosi Provincial Office.

Meanwhile, the landowners had demanded professionalism from the Minister of Lands and Government toward the Vanua of Nabukebuke and Nawaidina on the use of their collective natural resources.

The landowners do not want the prospecting license to be renewed.
