Three new players are set to make their first-ever appearance for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua as coach Mick Byrne names the club’s first match-day squad for 2024 to take on the ACT Brumbies this Saturday.
Mesake Vocevoce and Epeli Momo will be starting at locks and wing respectively while Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula will be coming off the bench.
Livai Natave, Zuriel Togiatama and Jone Koroiduadua will start in the frontrow while Vocevoce and Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta will pair up in the locks.
Vilive Miramira, Elia Canakaivata and captain Ratu Meli Derenalagi make up the backrow.
Peni Matawalu will start at halfback while Kemu Valetini will be at flyhalf with Tuidraki Samusamuvodre and Apisalome Vota forming the centres' combination.
Taniela Rakuro and Momo will be on the wings with Ilaisa Droasese at fullback.
The impact players are, Mesulame Dolokoto, Emosi Tuqiri, Meli Tuni, Isoa Nasilasila, Leone Rotuisolia, Simione Kuruvoli, Armstrong-Ravula, Michael Naitokani, Isikeli Rabitu, Motikiai Murray and Samuela Tawake.
The Drua will take on the Brumbies at 7:00pm Saturday in Canberra.
