United score a penalty after the final whistle to beat Brighton 3-2 in EPL

Manchester United scored a penalty after the final whistle to beat Brighton 3-2 in the English Premier League this morning.

Both teams were locked 2-2 at a full time before a VAR check concluded that Brighton striker Neal Maupay handled the ball in the penalty box during the final play of the match.

The penalty was comfortably converted by Bruno Fernandes as United registered their first Premier League win this season.

United’s other two goals came from Marcus Rashford and a Lewis Dunk own goal.

In another match, this morning, newly promoted West Brom held Chelsea to a 3-3 draw.

West Brom was leading 3-0 after the first 28 minutes but Chelsea managed to claim a draw with Tammy Abraham scoring the equalizer in injury time.
