In light of the recent announcement of the Ministry of Education due to Category 2 Tropical Cyclone Rae, the University of the South Pacific DISMAC Committee has directed the closure of their Northern campuses today.

USP says all essential services teams must finalise their cyclone preparation procedures to lock down the campus and minimise all movements. They say all other staff and students must follow the advice issued by the national authorities to return home now or evacuate to designated evacuation centres.
