Dual Olympic gold medallist Jerry Tuwai will make his long awaited return to the 7s arena after being named in the 14-member squad for the HSBC Madrid 7s next week.
Tuwai has not been part of the Fiji 7s team for a while as coach Osea Kolinisau stressed that his fitness level was still not at par.
Youngster Sakiusa Siqila, who made it to the extended squad, will make his debut in the Madrid 7s while Tira Weilagi returns to make his first appearance this season.
Other players named include Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Jerry Matana, Viliame Naikausa, Suliano Volivolituevei, Terio Tamani, Waisea Nacuqu, Ilikimi Torosi, Ponipate Loganimasi, Iowane Teba, and Vuiviwa Naduvalo.
Fiji will play New Zealand in their first pool match at 12.14am next Saturday, they will then take on Ireland in their second match at 11.06pm next Saturday before meeting South Africa at 1.49am next Sunday in their final pool match.
The men's semi finals will start at 10.21pm next Sunday and the final will be at 6.26am on the 3rd of June.
