The Coca-Cola Triple N Zone meet has been postponed due to the heavy rain that is currently being experienced in the Suva area.

Triple N Zone President Solomone Seru says they postponed their Zone meet tomorrow for the safety of students, athletes and teachers.

Pita Tuiloma of Lelean Memorial School won gold in the Senior boys’ discus with a throw of 29.65 metres, Ratu Iokobo Kuruduadua of Waidina Secondary won gold in the Junior 1500 metres with a time of 4.54 seconds, and Ratu John Mahoni of Waidina Secondary won the Senior 1500 metres with a time 4.38 seconds.

Looking at the medal tally, Lelean is leading the boys’ division with 3 gold and 2 silver, Nakasi High School is in second place with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, while Waidina Secondary School is in third place with 2 gold.

In the girls’ division, Adi Cakobau School leads with 5 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze, Sila Central High School is second with 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze, while Wainimala Secondary School is third with 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze.

Meanwhile, the Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone will be held on Thursday and Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
