The Minnesota Timberwolves had a rough film session following their close 108-105 loss to the Dallas Mavericks in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals yesterday.
coach Chris Finch gave his team an unvarnished view of what he saw in their loss and expressed his disappointment in the players’ efforts.
Finch says the players’ performance, attitude, application and attention to detail just was not there.
Wolves backup Naz Reid says they are the number 1 defensive team in the league and the amount of points they conceded against the Mavericks is just too much.
Reid says he just thinks they did not bring it defensively and that is pretty much what it is.
Game two of the Western Conference Final between the Timberwolves and the Mavericks will start at 12.30pm tomorrow.
Meanwhile, game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers is currently underway.
