Fiji 7s Head Coach Osea Kolinisau says the boys are mentally prepared for the task ahead of them and their training program is designed in such a way that the boys will get used to what the Olympics will be like.
Kolinisau says they are training in such a way following the Olympic format and comparing it to how their pool games will go during the opening matches.
He adds that he is getting the boys being used to this routine and they are adjusting well.
Kolinisau says the energy in camp is good and the boys are bonding and enjoying themselves.
Fiji plays Uruguay in their first pool match at 3am on the 25th of this month before playing the USA at 6.30am on the same day in their second pool match.
They will then meet France at 1.30am on the 26th of this month in their final pool match.
The quarter-finals will kick off at 7am on the 26th of this month, the semi-finals will begin at 1.30am on the 28th of this month and the final will be at 5.45am on the same day.
The Women’s 7s competition is from the 29th to the 31st of this month.
