Fiji Airways Fijiana team captain Adi Mereani Rogosau reflected on the beginning of the journey for most the players in the team and says that all of the them are ready for the much anticipated Dubai sevens.

Rogosau says five weeks ago they marched into camp clueless and frightened with most girls rethinking of the choice they made to join camp and on the verge of running away again after the first training secession.

An emotional captain says the girls are ready to wear the jersey with pride knowing their identity and mission during the jersey presentation.

She says they will trust the process and execute what they have learned during training.

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side will take on Ireland at 5.44pm today in their first pool match, they will then face Australia at 9.05pm the same evening and then play China at 1.13am tomorrow in their final pool match.
