The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua are the people’s team.
Drua head coach Mick Byrne stated this after their round 5 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific match 39-36 victory against the Waratahs on Saturday.
Byrne says they will continue to do as much as they can within our communities.
He says the players are out there every week visiting schools and they will continue to do that because they owe it to the people.
Byrne says when people turn up to watch their games they put their hands deep into their pockets to come and support the Drua.
The Drua will host the Western Force in their second double-header this Saturday with the Men’s team playing at 1.05pm and the Women’s game at 3.35 at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
