Supermarket chain expected to sign FCCC Voluntary Compliance Framework

A prominent supermarket chain in the country is expected to sign the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission Voluntary Compliance Framework soon. 

Under the Voluntary Compliance Framework agreement,  the company pledges to comply with the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission Act. 

Training will also be provided on the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission Act.

Commission CEO, Joel Abraham says in the urban areas they are pursuing the Voluntary Compliance Framework where they are trying to integrate the requirements under the FCCC Act into the internal governance systems of various businesses.
