South Africa is on the brink of clinching a World Cup semi-final berth after a 190-run thrashing of New Zealand in Pune, India.

Victory returns South Africa to the top of the table while New Zealand drop to fourth after a third straight defeat.

South Africa is now leading the Cricket World Cup table with 12 points, while India is in second place with 12 points, Australia is in third place with 8 points, New Zealand is in fourth place with 8 points and Pakistan is in fifth place with 6 points.

Meanwhile, India will play Sri Lanka at 8.30 pm today.
