Samabula Pedestrian Crossing Lights still not working

The Samabula Pedestrian Crossing Lights are still not working.

Fiji Roads Authority Acting CEO Robert Sen had earlier said the lights would be fixed on the 27th of August.

Sen adds that most of the works have been completed.

He says these works are taking longer than anticipated due to the underground cables however FRA is working to get this rectified.

The Samabula Pedestrian Crossing Lights have not been working for over a month.

The two crossing lights one of which extends from the Calvary Temple towards the Fiji National University Samabula campus and another that extends from the FNU campus towards the Samabula Police station need to work in order to give pedestrians indications of when to cross.
