Villagers of Nakorokula in Ra will have to wait a little longer for their road hump to be built, as work has been deferred due to the rainy weather experienced around the country this week.
The Fiji Roads Authority says the works were supposed to start this week, but it was differed due to the weather.
Meanwhile, the villagers of Nakorokula had requested the FRA if a road hump could be installed at the village's main road following a few accidents that have been taking place there. A representative from the village says that they have been requesting the installation of a road hump because of these accidents, but nothing has been done about it. He says they are worried about the villagers using the road, especially school children to catch the bus to Rakiraki every day.
