The Rewa Sanatan Sabha of Fiji is requesting the general public to assist in a fundraising event that will be held to raise money to build a $2 million multi purpose hall and Girmit Museum in Nausori.

The Girmit Museum will showcase artifacts from girmit days.

The land was donated by a family from Australia.

President of Rewa Sanatan Sabha, Vijendra Prakash says the hall will have several purposes.

Prakash says this will be a unique hall and many people will benefit from it.

The first fundraiser event will be two Kirtan Nights, the first of which will be held on the 29th of this month at Tilak Hall in Lautoka and the second will be held on the 5th of August at Narere Primary School Hall.
