Realignment work at Korosomo Slip in the North progressing well

There is some good news as issues with the landowners have been resolved and realignment work at Korosomo Slip in the Northern Division is progressing well.

Minister for Disaster Management, Inia Seruiratu who is currently in the North has confirmed this.

It was earlier said the landowners had given their agreement for the realignment during their initial talks however, another set of landowners had claimed ownership of that land.

According to the Fiji Roads Authority, there was miscommunication amongst landowners.
