The prices of unleaded fuel, gas and premix prices will go down while kerosene and diesel will increase from today.

The price of unleaded fuel decreases by 4 cents to $2.87 per litre, premix also drops to $2.71, while kerosene will now cost 5 cents more at $1.95 per litre with diesel also increasing by 2 cents to $2.52 per litre.

Gas prices have also dropped with a 4.5kg cylinder costing $14.73 while the 12kg cylinder has dropped by 84 cents to $39.28. FCCC says the Fuel and LPG product price review in Fiji follows a one-month lag period.

They say therefore, the local Fuel and LPG prices for August 2024 are based on Refined Fuel and Butane imports made by Fuel and LPG companies in June 2024.

FCCC says fuel prices in Fiji are impacted by movements in the Means of Platts Singapore (MOPS), international freight rates and foreign exchange rates.
