Team Fiji delivered another poor performance in the under 18 and senior men’s 200 metres finals event this afternoon, as they once again failed to secure any win in these respective events in the Oceania Championships at the HFC Bank Stadium.

In the under-18 category, Setareki Saukilagi finished 7th and teammate Emosi Laqere finished last in the final.

The senior men’s 200 metres final was dominated by Australia as they won gold, silver, and bronze while Team Fiji’s runners Waisake Tewa finished in 6th place and Jonacani Koroi finished in 7th.

In the women’s category, the women from Australia dominated the under-18 men’s and women’s races while Torrie Lewis, the Australian sensation, continued her dominance winning another gold in the 200 metres.

The 4 X 100 metres final and the 4 X 400 metres final will begin at 5.45pm today.
