A collaborative discussion between some key Government Ministries and stakeholders has begun with the aim of creating a development program to construct a new access road to Labasa Town.
The strategic meeting also aims to develop cooperation between government ministries and stakeholders that will ensure the successful implementation of this crucial infrastructure project.
The Minister for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry, Charan Jeath Singh says the new proposed project will have a positive economic impact on the businesses in Labasa Town and its surrounding areas as this will provide broader access to Labasa town.

He says public consultations will be carried out in the further process of the project along with the revealing of it's details.
