Police have classified the death of the man in Navua as murder.
The man was found in a drain along Viwawa Road last Saturday.
Police say they have received the post mortem result which shows foul play.
The man was a caretaker of a farm and was last seen drinking kava last Friday night.
No one has been taken in for questioning as investigations continues.
