Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flanker Vilive Miramira has revealed his long term goal of being part of the Fiji Water Flying Fijians team at the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
The 24-year-old says he has set that goal, but for now he is focusing on the task ahead of him in the Drua side for the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
The Naivaka Village, Bua man was part of the Flying Fijians squad to the Rugby World Cup in France last year and says being the first ever from his village to don the white jumper has motivated him to keep setting higher goals.
Miramira has also revealed that he is open to any offers from overseas clubs but at the moment, he is laying his body on the line for the Drua.
He further says, there is a lot of competition in the position he is playing in but he is just focusing on improving the areas that he needs to improve.
The former Nadi rep also revealed that there have been a lot of challenges along the way, but he uses that as his motivation as well.
Meanwhile, Miramira and the Fijian Drua will be having an open session training at Albert Park in Suva at 10 am tomorrow and fans are welcome to attend the training and catch a glimpse of their heroes.
The Drua play the Blues in their first match on the 24th of this month in Auckland.
