Oscar Bobb scored a stoppage-time winner as Manchester City moved within two points of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table with a 3-2 victory over Newcastle in a breathless encounter at St James' Park this morning.
It rounded off a brilliant game that saw both sides dominate periods, but City controlled the second half at 2-1 and showed the fight and quality to seal what could be a huge win come the end of the season.
Oscar Bobb, Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva scored for City while Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon scored for Newcastle.
In the other matches, Chelsea beat Fulham 1-0.
Meanwhile, Liverpool is currently leading the premier league table with 45 points followed by Manchester City with 43 points, Aston Villa t third place with 42 points Arsenal in fourth place with 40 points and Tottenham in fifth place with 39 points.
