Labasa earned a crucial 2-0 victory over Nasinu in the Digicel Premier League at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Solomon Islander Tingi Molea scored the first goal in the 10th minute, while Jone Lalavesi sealed their win with a second goal in the 88th minute.

In an interview with fijivillage News, Labasa Coach Ravneel Pratap says he is pleased with the team’s performance, especially considering the tough and hot weather.

He says it was a difficult game, but the boys did well.

Pratap says this win was important for the team to stay in the fight for the title.

He says the team had made mistakes in previous games, but today’s victory helped keep the pressure on the teams above and behind.

The win keeps Labasa in a strong position as they continue to push for success in the league.
