Fiji 7s coach Osea Kolinisau says he is educating the team members on ways to counter distractions in the Olympic Games village in France which has caused many problems for athletes during previous Games.
Kolinisau says he believes the current squad has what it takes to win their third gold medal.
The coach says they are hungry for this medal and they want to keep the legacy Fiji has build.
Fiji plays Uruguay in their first pool match at 3am on the 25th of this month before playing the USA at 6.30am on the same day in their second pool match.
They will then meet France at 1.30am on the 26th of this month in their final pool match.
The quarter-finals will kick off at 7am on the 26th of this month, the semi-finals will begin at 1.30am on the 28th of this month and the final will be at 5.45am on the same day.
The Women’s 7s competition is from the 29th to the 31st of this month.
