The founder of Juice Fiji Pte Limited, Panapasa Daunakamakama, is grateful that he was chosen as a recipient of the Drua Innovation Small Grants Scheme.
This assistance is from the Fijian Government in collaboration with UNDP and the Government of Luxembourg.
Daunakamakama says this timely assistance will boost his business in terms of investments and diversification as he is hoping to venture into the Agriculture sector.
He says Fiji is losing people to Australian and New Zealand markets in terms of Agriculture, and he wants to invest more in our local sector to create more jobs for Fijians at home.
The Drua Innovation Small Grants Scheme is being implemented under the ambit of the Solevaka Development Accelerator Project (SDAP), which aims to create robust capital stacking pathways for high-impact private sector-led solutions.
While officiating at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica says the Government has been working on scaling up its circular economy portfolio and ushering in private sector involvement.
