A small business, Pepe & Pepe Fiji Limited has been making more than a 100 masks a day to keep up with the demand.
Owner Stella Simpson says they started making face masks when Fiji’s first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in March last year.
She says this week they saw the demand surge again.
Simpson says it is good to see that people are wearing masks and protecting themselves.
Pepe and Pepe is located along High Street in Suva.
All their masks sell for $6 each.
