Former Jasper Williams sprinter, Buna, to start against the Brumbies

Former Jasper Williams High School sprinter Atelaite Buna has been named in the starting line-up for the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s side that will take on the Brumbies in Round 4 of the Super Rugby Women’s competition.

Head Coach Mosese Rauluni has made a few changes, with Salanieta Nabuli making her first start at loosehead prop, Keleni Marawa starting at hooker, and Vika Matarugu remaining at tighthead prop.

Asinate Serevi will partner with Jade Coates at locks while Nunia Daunimoala starts at blindside flanker, Sulita Waisega stays at openside flanker and captain Karalaini Naisewa will be at number 8.

A new halves pairing will drive the backline this week, with Setaita Railumu getting a start at halfback alongside Jenifer Ravutia, who will be the starting flyhalf.

Buna and Merewairita Neivosa are on the wings, while Merewai Cumu and Vani Arei are the centres, and Luisa Tisolo starts at fullback.

The Drua Women will take on the Brumbies at 6.05pm Saturday.
