The USA Men’s 7s team has named a strong side that will compete in this month’s Olympic Games in Japan.
Folau Niua and Perry Baker have made remarkable recoveries from serious injury to make the 12-man squad.
Niua only recently returned to action after being out for nearly two years with a serious broken leg, while Baker also suffered a broken leg in February last year.
The team will be captained by Madison Hughes and will be supported Danny Barrett and the USA’s all-time leading try-scorer Carlin Isles.
The USA side is in pool C with South Africa, Kenya and Ireland.
The Olympic Rugby 7s competition will be held from the 26th to the 31st of July.
