The Vodafone Fijiana 15s is aiming to win at the WXV3 Competition in Dubai so they can move up to the WXV2 competition and also improve their ranking in the World Rugby Ranking statistics.
Coach Mosese Rauluni says the big focus is Scotland in the first game, but their major focus overall is to win the WXV3 and move up to WXV2.
He says it is great to have a tough match against a team like Scotland, which is in the Six Nations, and also the Netherlands, which is an up-and-coming nation.
Rauluni says the girls have been training hard, and hopefully, they can come away with a win, which is their major focus for the first start of the Fijiana.
Fiji will take on Scotland Women at 3.45am on the 15th of September.
Following this, the Vodafone Fijiana XV will embark on another groundbreaking journey as they travel to the Netherlands for their first-ever match against the Orange Ladies.
This match will take place on Thursday, 19th of September, at the NRCA Stadium in Amsterdam.
The WXV3 tournament kicks off on the 27th of September, and Fijiana’s first match is against Hong Kong on the 28th.
