Fijian wonder boy Roy Krishna is keen to be part of the new Auckland A-League team.
When questioned by fijivillage News if Krishna will be joining a new Auckland club in the A-league competition, his Manager Nazia Ali says a similar question was asked by New Zealand journalist to which he Krishna said yes as nothing formal has come from the new Auckland club yet.
The Fiji international has loved his time in the Indian Super League, with the fanatical supporters and rich cultural experiences, but wants to return to this part of the world at the end of the current season, which will also allow his 2-year-old daughter, Ayeshah, to be closer to her extended family.
While talking to NZ Herald, Krishna says New Zealand is very close to him and it is a great opportunity to return back to the region to play one more time for the people that followed him very closely.
He says he would love to return back to the place where he started and wants to play for the community as it was his first professional league.
Krishna says people think his very old while he is still playing and scoring in nearly every game and also has got his speed and has more knowledge about football.
