38-year-old Elvin Lal

A family is seeking assistance in locating their son, 38-year-old Elvin Lal, who has been missing since last Sunday from their home in Deepwater, Tailevu.

Police say Lal was last seen by his family on the morning of the 7th of July leaving his home to attend church.

While talking to fijivillage News, Elvin’s uncle Jwahir Lal says a bus driver informed the family that Elvin was last seen at the Rakiraki bus stand wearing a green t-shirt and green shorts.

He says Elvin is mentally unwell and has a history of going to Suva Market on his own without informing anyone.

Lal says they have not been able to find him since last Sunday and are seeking assistance in locating him.

Please call the Eastern Division Command Center on 9905 563 or Crime Stoppers on 919 if you have any information regarding his whereabouts.
