The Fiji Rugby Union has started the process of recruiting a new Flying Fijians Coach with almost 7 months to go for the Rugby World Cup in France.
This is after former Head Coach Vern Cotter resigned from his role.
Cotter resigned due to personal reasons.
FRU Chairman Commodore Humphrey Tawake says the announcement of the next coach will be in due course.
In a statement, Cotter expressed his regret at abruptly finishing his tenure with Fiji which included two tests against the All Blacks in 2021.
Cotter says he would like to take this opportunity to thank the players and coaches he has worked with during his time.
He says he feels the team has made some significant improvements over the last few years both on and off the field.
Cotter has wished the team all the very best for the upcoming Rugby World Cup this year.
