People have been urged by FRIEND Fiji Founder and CEO Sashi Kiran to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines that will help stop the spread of COVID-19 and make the authorities work easier.

Kiran says if we are able to protect our families with the basic steps, we will be doing our families a favour and prevent the suffering.

She is also calling on community leaders and heads of households to discuss with people on how to curb the behaviour to practice the safe guidelines.

Kiran says having these conversations is important.

Kiran is also calling on people to show compassion to people who have contracted the virus.

FRIEND Fiji has been assisting thousands of families affected by COVID-19 and the recent cyclones with food and other basic items in the Western Division and other parts of Fiji.

If you want to assist FRIEND Fiji, you can contact them on 8983183 or friend@connect.com.fj.

You can also check out our Hands Across Fiji section on our website fijivillage where we connect people who need help to those who are providing help.
