The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women have landed in Brisbane and are settling in well as they prepare for the Super Rugby Women’s final clash against the NSW Waratahs this weekend.
Speaking from the team’s hotel, coach Mosese Rauluni says they are glad to have gotten to Brisbane early as they usually take the Thursdays and Fridays flight on their away games.
Rauluni says getting to Brisbane early has helped them to not worry about flying and also having their contact sessions under the Brisbane weather.
He says in terms of their preparations, the players are excited for the last game of the season and the most important one as well.
Rauluni is calling on all supporters in Queensland to come out in numbers to support the team and says they will need all the support they can get this weekend.
The Drua Women will take on the Waratahs at 4pm Sunday in Brisbane.
Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will take on Moana Pasifika at 2.05pm Saturday at Churchill Park Lautoka.
