As the Digicel Fiji Kulas get ready to take on the Solomon Islands in the OFC Nations Cup semi final tonight, coach Lisa Cole is calling on Fijians to come out in numbers and support the women tonight.
She says sports is a great way to do so many things and Fijian women and children should now get involved.
Cole says sports teaches great lessons in life like eating healthy, getting to know one another and championing one another and the Kulas have just been doing that.
The Kulas take on the Solomon Islands at 7.30pm tonight at the HFC Bank Stadium.
Samoa will face Papua New Guinea in the first semi-final at 4pm.
The final will be played at 7pm Saturday.
The winner of the Women's Nations Cup will qualify for the inter-confederation playoff for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be played in New Zealand next year.
The inter-confederation playoffs will determine the final three qualification spots for the FIFA Women's World Cup.
It will feature 10 teams from 6 confederations split into three groups, with the winner of each group qualifying for the Women's World Cup.
