Christchurch mosque shooter Brenton Tarrant who killed 51 people including 3 Fijians has chosen not to speak in his own defence at sentencing.
Asraf Ali, Imam Hafiz Musa Patel and Ashraf Ali who moved to New Zealand years ago passed away in the attacks.
Survivors and families of victims have spoken out against Tarrant.
The 29-year-old Australian has pleaded guilty to 51 counts of murder, 40 attempted murders and one charge of terrorism.
He faces life in prison, possibly without parole - a sentence never before imposed in New Zealand.
