After Round 2 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific, last year’s finalists the Chiefs are sitting on top of the table after two wins with 9 points.
With the Super Round in Melbourne providing some upsets, with favourites the Crusaders losing to the Waratahs 37-24 and the Rebels mounting an epic second half performance to beat the Force 48-34.
The top 3 teams all have 9 points each, but it is the points differential that separates them with the Hurricanes in second and the Blues in third.
Current defending champions the Crusaders are in tenth place after losing both their games.
The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua are just one place below them in eleventh after earning one bonus point from the two games played.
Results over the weekend, the Blues beat the Highlanders 37-29, the Rebels upset the Force 48-34, Moana Pasifika edged the Drua 39-36, the Waratahs upset the Crusaders 37-24, the Chiefs thrashed the Brumbies 46-12 and the Hurricanes defeated the Reds 38-33.
In games this Friday, Moana Pasifika host the Rebels at 6.05pm while the Waratahs play the Highlanders at 8.35pm.
On Saturday, the Drua play the Crusaders in Lautoka at 1.05pm, the Brumbies take on the Force at 3.35pm, the Hurricanes meet the Blues at 6.05pm while the Reds host the Chiefs at 8.35pm.
