Bus operators to provide services if they see the demand for it this long weekend

The Fiji Bus Operators Association is urging operators to provide services this long weekend if they see a demand for it.

Association President Nisar Ali Shah says operators can survey their routes to gauge the demand of the people.

Most bus companies resumed Sunday services last week with the vaccination rate of the target population reaching 80%.

Shah says 30% of their operation consists of providing services to school students and they are looking forward to the opening of schools.
