Prolific actor Angela Lansbury, who starred for more than a decade as Jessica Fletcher in the crime drama “Murder, She Wrote” and voiced Mrs. Potts in 1991′s “Beauty and the Beast,” has died at the age of 96.
She died peacefully in her sleep at home in Los Angeles, just five days shy of her 97th birthday.
Lansbury was known for her work on screen and on Broadway.
