8,235 Year 13 students will be sitting for the Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination

8,235 Year 13 students are sitting for the Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination in 170 centres across the country from today to 8th December 2022 with one new centre this year.

While wishing the students well for their exam, Minister for Education, Premila Kumar hopes the students have been diligent with their studies throughout the year because that is what will serve them well now.

Kumar adds to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted exam period, dates for the exams had been changed in light of Election Day.

She also says the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination will begin for 14,907 Year 12 students in 174 centres from the 1st to the 13th of December.

She says 17,880 students will sit for Fiji Year 8 Examination in 717 centres with an additional 4 new centres this year.

Kumar says the Fiji Year 8 Examination will be held from the 9th to 13th December. The Minister urges parents and teachers to help students during the exam period by providing them with the necessary support.
