21-year-old Suliasi Fuata who allegedly punched and stabbed his 19-year-old partner to death in Colo-i-Suva in June this year has pleaded guilty to one count of murder.
Fuata appeared before High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe.
Justice Rajasinghe asked Fuata if he was forced into pleading guilty.
Fuata denied that he was forced by anyone.
Fuata allegedly murdered his partner after a heated argument over a Facebook message that was sent to a relative of the victim.
The case will be called next Tuesday.
