A joint search by Police and Corrections officers is currently underway for 7 prisoners who escaped from Naboro Maximum Prison early this morning.
Police Chief of Operations, Maretino Qiolevu says that the seven are Ulaiasi Qalomai, Filipe Delana, Peniasi Qalibau, Bainivalu Tuimatavesi, Josaia Usumaki, Solomoni Qurai and Mesulame Waqabaca.
Ulaiasi Qalomai, Filipe Delana, Peniasi Qalibau and Bainivalu Tuimatavesi are serving time for aggravated robbery, Josaia Usumaki is serving time for burglary and larceny while Solomoni Qurai and Mesulame Waqabaca are serving time for murder.
Anyone with information of their whereabouts is requested to call Crimestoppers on 919 or their nearest police station as the 7 are considered to be dangerous.
