President Jioji Konrote is expected to issue the Writ Of Elections later this morning after confirmation that Fiji will have general elections on Wednesday November 14th, 2018.
According to the constitution, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama advised President, Jioji Konrote to dissolve parliament yesterday.
Bainimarama visited Government House yesterday and he met with President Konrote for about 30 minutes.

The Prime Minister returned from New York yesterday.
People cannot register to vote or change any of their voter details after 6pm today.
President Konrote will issue the writ at 10am today at Grand Pacific Hotel.
