Power supply has been restored to most places in Viti Levu

The Fiji Electricity Authority says power supply has now been restored to most places in Viti Levu.

FEA technicians were able to energize the Wailoa to Cunningham 132,000 volts transmission line that was affected by the lightning strike this morning.

In the Central Division, power supply is now being slowly restored at the USP Laucala campus, most parts of Nasinu, Samabula, some parts of Suva City.

There was a major black out across Viti Levu after the lightning strike at around 6am today.
