Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama meets with the Children of Dilkusha Home.

Children of Dilkusha Home will no longer have to worry about their means of transportation after the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama promised to gift them a mini bus this Christmas.

The children were singing Christmas carols at Ratu Cakobau Park yesterday and Bainimarama asked them what they wanted for this Christmas.

A young girl then said that they would like to get a mini bus for their home to take them around.

The Prime Minister then said that the children will have the mini bus before Christmas.

Deaconess Leba Laveti says this is a dream come true for the children of Dilkusha.

Laveti says they will utilize the minibus for transporting children to school and site seeing.

34 children are under the care of Dilkusha Home in Nausori which consists of 30 girls and four boys.

The youngest at the home is a 10‑month‑old boy and oldest is 23‑years‑old.
