The Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Rear Admiral, Viliame Naupoto will be accorded a Fijian traditional dedication at Queen Elizabeth Barracks this morning.
The occasion will also include a 100 men Guard of Honour.
This is after Naupoto was bestowed the position during a church service at the RFMF Chapel at Queens Elizabeth Barracks yesterday.
Naupoto says it is a humble experience and quite symbolic to be bestowed the position of the commander RFMF.
Naupoto says he will do his best to fulfill the responsibility that he has been assigned to.
Major (Reverend) Ilaitia Tuwere who led the service reminded Naupoto to lead by example and to make a difference in the RFMF.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, Members of Parliament, Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho, dignitaries and invited guests are expected to attend the traditional ceremony today.
