Outgoing Army Commander Brigadier General Mosese Tikoitoga says the military continues to remain united as Commodore Viliame Naupoto takes over as the Acting Commander from today.
Speaking at a press conference at the RFMF’s Strategic Headquarters, Tikoitoga says Commodore Naupoto has done excellent work in the military and government department over the past years.
He also says all the senior military officers and the members of the RFMF fully support Commodore Naupoto.
Tikoitoga also says that he always wanted to take up a diplomatic post and he is grateful that this has been made possible after consultations with the Prime Minister.
He also dismisses all the claims made in the social media.
Tikoitoga says the facts are that he wanted to take up the diplomatic post and he is now on his way to take it up after his induction training at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from next week.
He stresses that he leaves with a peaceful heart knowing that the RFMF is in better hands.
