The Fiji Airway Men’s National 7s team will take on Canada in the first quarterfinal of the Hamilton 7s at 10.36am.
Fiji topped Pool A after winning all their pool games.
They earlier thrashed Wales 54-7 in their first pool match, struggled to defeat Argentina 33-24 and defeated Australia 26-19 in their last pool match.

Coach Gareth Baber continued to stressed to the team the importance of taking advantage of turnovers and was concerned with the number of miss tackles.
Baber says that overall they have had a good first day even though somethings did not go their way adding that the team has learnt as the day progressed and are preparing for their next match.
Captain Kalione Nasoko also highlighted how pleased they were with the Fijian support at the Hamilton FMG Stadium.

In other quarterfinals, Samoa will take on South Africa, Australia will face New Zealand in the third quarterfinal while USA will take on Scotland in the last quarter final.

Barring any upsets, Fiji will either meet Samoa or South Africa in the Cup Semifinal.
The semifinals will kick off at 3.16pm and the final will start at 7.10 tonight.
